I have to say that I have been door knocking at the bottom of Port Union at the lake and without a doubt just about everyone I talked with said they love the area and want to stay for a long time. As a real estate agent it was somewhat discouraging to see how happy everyone is with the area. But I can certainly see why the Port Union Village is such a great neighborhood. It is right on the waterfront trail, right on the lake. I love going for a run along the lake there. There is great access to transportation; the Go train, TTC and 401. It doesn't get any more convenient then that. The schools are second to none. All the parents are very satisfied with the neighborhood schools. Of course the homes that were built there are lovely. I love the sense of light and space that I see when I peak inside the homes. The detail on the outside of the homes is very eye-catching. I do enjoy walking around the area, so I think I'll still be door knocking.
